Photo Benefit & Lecture for the Mayul Tibetan School. Sale of original photographs and t-shirts by KU faculty and graduate students to benefit a school for Tibetans in China. A public talk will be at 7:00 pm—”Building a School for Tibetans at 13,000 Feet.”

Time: 5:30–9:00 pm
Location: Gallery, Art and Design Building

Mark your calendars for November 23 when we will hold a benefit for the Mayul School at the Art and Design Building at the University of Kansas. The event will feature an exhibition of high-quality photographs and t-shirts for sale to benefit the Mayul School.

There will also be a public talk about the Mayul School and its efforts to educate the local nomadic population and preserve Tibetan culture.

Make checks payable to the Tibet Education Project. The Tibet Education Project is a non-profit charity instituted to raise funds to support Tibetan schools in China and India, and to promote Tibetan language and cultural programs in the United States. Please indicate that your gift is for the Mayul School. 100% of all funds received will be directly sent to the Mayul School to support the education of Tibetan students.
